farm guest rules

1.

Preserve the Wilderness in the National Forest. The Farm borders on your lands, our lands, the United States National Forest. The cove has been designated in a 150 year use plan for large mammal habitat. The south ridge is dedicated Wilderness. Please cut no tree, disturb no living thing, leave no trash, and walk softly upon this land. There is very little wilderness and it must last forever.

2.

Absolutely No Animals in the House! Dog, cats, horses, cows, chickens and pigs are all welcome at the Farm, and in the Red Barn, but please keep them OUTSIDE ONLY! No exceptions please.

3.

Please NO SMOKING in the House or Barns.

4.

Garbage: Please bag your garbage for pick-up. Please pack-out any trash in the Forests and Wilderness.

Light switches: The house is very old, so some of the light switches are not where they belong, so please be patient. The pond light is outside, on the corner of the house, by the front steps.
