From Atlanta on I-85, go north to I-985. Go north on I-985 past Gainesville, where I-985 becomes GA 365. Continue north. Turn Left onto Georgia 384, Duncan Bridge Road, at a traffic light which is about 17.2 miles past Exit 24 on I-985/365. The sign says "Helen". Follow Georgia 384 for about 15 miles until it dead-ends into Georgia 75. Turn right onto Georgia 75, and continue through Helen, and over the Unicoi Gap, until 75 meets Georgia 76, at a stop sign. Turn Left at the stop sign and follow Georgia 75 & 76 into Hiawassee.
 
 
 

From Atlanta on I-75, go north to I-575. Go north on I-575 to 5. Go north on 5 to where 5 becomes Ga 76. Continue north and northeast towards Hiawassee. Go north on 76 to Hiawassee. Go left, which is also north on 75 into Hiawassee.
 
 
 

Hiawassee, Georgia is located in North Georgia, along US Highway 76, and is the Georgia closest town to the Farm. From Hiawassee, go North on GA 75. This intersection, which has a stoplight, is about 1/4 mile west of the town square on US 76 (which is also GA 17 and GA 75). Follow GA 75 North for about 3.1 miles to the North Carolina State Line. GA 75 now becomes North Carolina Highway 175. Keep on NC 175 for another 3.4 miles until you cross a narrow concrete bridge across the lake and come to a stop sign. There is no road sign to the right, but Hayesville and 175 go to the left. Turn Right at the Stop Sign onto "Old 64". On your right, as you drive along, is where Shooting Creek feeds into Lake Chatuge. Drive east on "Old 64" about 3.8 miles to Bethabara Road on your right.

Murphy, NC is to the West of the farm and is one of the closest NC towns. From Murphy, go East on US 64, past Hayesville, NC, and past Lake Chatuge on your right, and take a right on NC 175, for about a mile until you come to a one lane bridge on the right. NC 175 goes right over the bridge, but do not cross the bridge, instead going straight onto "Old 64". On your right, as you drive along, is where Shooting Creek feeds into Lake Chatuge. Drive east on "Old 64" about 3.8 miles to Bethabara Road on your right.

Franklin, NC is to the East of the Farm and is the closest NC city. From Franklin, go West on US 64, about 20 miles, over the Chunky Gal Mountain, into Shooting Creek. "Old 64" will be on your left, and will stay on your left. Drive East on "Old 64" to Bethabara Road on your left.
 
 
 

Turn onto Bethabara road (not Bethabara loop), which only goes one way. You are driving generally southeast. Follow Bethabara, past the little church on your right, for 3.6 miles, to the end of the pavement. Dead ahead is a dirt drive, with a cute little house called the "Casa Contenta" slightly on the left, on top of a little hill. Keep going! You are almost at the Farm.

Follow the dirt drive, up the little hill with Casa Contenta on your left. This dirt drive continues, between a couple of fences, and on up into the Cove, for 4/10 of a mile. There will be a first drive to your left, just past some piled Indian rocks, but continue straight. There will be a second drive on you left, with the stone pillars. The Farm gate will be straight ahead. Drive through the gate, and you will see the old red barn at the top of the field, and the Round Top and the Pine Knob up on the ridge. Pull up just past the red barn and park. Welcome to the Farm!
